Royal Naval Division formation badge
Good evening all,
I have been an RND Collector for a good few years and have managed to amass a good collection of ( I believe scarce ) cloth badges. The 63rd Division formation badge has always been in my opinion the blue circle with red border and anchor. However I have noticed on the RND Wiki page , someone has uploaded a image of a black circle with red anchor , the anchor chain is in a different position and to me i have never seen it worn or depicted in any book or article. It looks more like a WW2 formation sign but I would like to hear people's views on this If anyone could offer any primary source information that would be great Thank you all in advance |

Looks very similar to the patch worn by VADs working in a RN Hospitals.
