better pics of the tan beret would help, but perhaps 60's with the vinyl trim, though I would want more pics unless it was cheap.

The maroon beret is post war Belgian, 50's to 70's I assume. I don't like the wings, they look a bit fluffy but if correct are 70/80's.

All IMO.

Thanks for the quick reply Jerry. They are in an estate sale here in the states and the estate owner was a former Green Beret from the VN era into the 70s. Just curious if these could have been much earlier ie late 1940s or early 50s era.
They are already priced up to 330.00 US dollars for the tan one and over 200 for the maroon one.
Thanks
Grant

Grant.

I think they are c. the period he served, 60's/70's. Seems too pricey already, especially the Belgian beret, though maybe they do fetch that sort of price but it seems a lot to me. Perhaps others think they are earlier in date. The tan beret is hard to tell for certain from the one pic.

in the maroon beret you just make out the ABL markings

Jerry id say 100% correct for the tan. If i saw it, thats where id place it. Ive 3 like that.
Nothing wrong with the Belgian beret except expensive.
I dont like the wings and would need better photos before committing.
Happy days
Jon
