Default Good, bad or indifferent

I watched these go through & was surprised where they finished.

Any comments.

The selling price is the rough value of ONE 1944 pattern cap badge, so I think that says it all!!!

All fakes IMO

And of course they were sold by the latest username incarnation of a well known peddler of iffy items.

I had been watching this group down to the wire and was twitchy with my bidding finger but didn't bid. I thought that at least one might be "correct" but wasn't willing to gamble. It's very hard for those of us new to this field and likewise discouraging to realize there are so many replicas floating around.

There is another large number of "original" items coming up from one seller later today, all quite rare if period original pieces but I'm skeptical about most, if not all of the remaining pieces and won't be chasing them either.
