An interesting 127th York Rangers
As the title says clearly a 127th but the "1" and the "7" are not visible on the front. You can clearly see the stamping on the back however? Thoughts?

Interesting error, how many I wonder were issued like this or was it put in a pocket at the factory instead of the garbage.

The 127th Bn was converted to railway troops overseas, serving as 2nd Bn Canadian Railway Troops. The 2nd Bn CRT continued to wear the 127th badge, but it looks like this 127th badge was customized to show the "2" for the CRT Bn number.
