Default Lovat Scout badges opinion please

Not being an expert and learning as I go can anyone give an opinion if original or restrike please. Think I’ve answered my own question but first looked good till I handled it, material and aging looked good but now with a focused image the antlers dont seem correct neither does the deers nose/mouth.
Regards Wayne

Hi Wayne,

First is the common solid centre I.Y. fake, no need to even see the back. You’ll see several on eBay every week.

The second badge I can’t see the outline of properly due to the lighting and black background. I think it could well be KK1498 but would want a clearer pic front and one back before hazarding an opinion.

Hopefully others will give their opinions.

Cheers,

Luke
