Default Norfolk Regt Glengarry Badge

Hi folks,

There is a nice Glengarry badge on auction here:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Norfolk-Re...item58b4d62c28

My question is; the loops are offset from horizontal and so is Brittania. Was this done intentionally so the cap could be worn at a jaunty angle and the badge remained upright?

Hi Rockape,
Nice badge. Wouldn't a gentle twist bring Britannia and lugs back into line?
Cheers, Tinto

Default From Exeter to Surrey to Ebay in the blink of an eye!

Good morning.

So now we know who else was bidding in Exeter this week. No surprise there then.

Enjoy.

Its going to take a bit more than just "a twist" to sort that out. Those wires can get very brittle over time... and I wouldn't want to bend them...

I think the back plate has been put on upside down.

Default Norfolk glengarry

Think you will find the fixing wires have already broken, that's why the back plate has turned. I also think that the top wire has been added at a later date.
The back plate also has picked up some extra holes.

Nice badge.
