Default Another Unknown fir ID

Hi All
I'm very new to this site and still 'feeling' my way around.

I have a 'badge' found recently in the grounds of an old rectory in East Kent, England which was used as a billet in WW2 for, I think, Canadians. [hence I have also posted this in the 'Canadian Insignia' section].

The item is well made from what appears to be bronze.

Can anyone identify it for me please????
Thank you

regards

Tony

It is not a military badge i'm afraid, it is actually from pair of loafer style shoes commonly available in the 1980s, one being worn across the top of each shoe.

Sorry !
