Default Cameron and The Welch Authentic??

Here is a couple of more badges for the acid test.

Is there a post on this site that explains some basic things to watch out for when looking at badges to determine authenticity or is it a badge by badge thing?20190501_152031.jpg

Perfectly good examples. The Cameron is very nice and looks to be fairly early with those short pinched lugs. The Welch is not the greatest quality, likely ww2, but original nonetheless.

Thanks CB

The display the badges will eventually end up in is WWII. Would the Cameron badge be ok in a WWII display?

Even though the Cameron is likely quite early, it would be perfectly acceptable in a ww2 exhibit. Probably many were still in wear by those that had them as the design did not change.
