What's this "new website" everyone's referring to? What have I missed?

Typical. I found a badge there I've been looking for.
Problem is they only send international signed for. Which it probably a good idea, safety wise.
Unfortunately, what this means for me is that it will cost £8.50 to ship, and since the badge in question is over £20, that will trigger a VAT charge of £15 for handling and £5 import tax.
Making my £25 badge a £60 affair.

I'll pass.

Colin,
Is there nothing to be done this end regarding buying badges and then posting to you?

Gerard

It's a predicament I'm sure other overseas collectors face, too.
That's why I usually don't buy from webshops, unless it's something I really want.
On a few occasions, certain members have volunteered to act as intermediates,
something I'm very grateful for.
The Norwegian government are currently proposing to raise the VAT limit to £100, so fingers crossed

There's a nice one here if you can convince the Yank to ship to the Uk.

Yes. I picked up a huge amount of rare badges from US sellers when I lived in the US. I always wondered how they got there sometimes.

Simon.
