Default Green Howards WW2 Error Badge

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I'm quite new to British badges (long time WW2 Canadian collector though), and I'm wondering about the WW2-period Green Howards error badge with the crown instead of coronet and non-voided A. Specifically, did this represent all of the WW2 production or was it corrected fairly quickly? What would be the proportion of crown to coronet badges worn during the war? If I was to buy one Green Howards badge for my WW2 display, which should it be?

It was simply an error by the manufacturer, both pattern badges were worn throughout the war so both (along with the plastic economy) would be the answer for other ranks badges.

Cheers,
