Default Royal Fusiliers Badge - What and when?

Guys,

Can anyone please confirm for me exactly what the attached Royal Fusiliers badge is and when it was worn? If indeed it is a uniform badge and not a picture frame or the likes badge?

QVC crown, collar sized but with no fittings

Cheers,

Marcus,
It's a variation of a KC not QVC.

Thanks Andy,

That will then point to it being an unfinished collar, the crown had me a little stumped initially.

Experts please correct me if I am mistaken, but I think (generally) RF cap badges and collars for this period were/are the same size. Given that the cap badge measures approx 50mm in length, I'm wondering if your badge is the same as the FSC example Davec2 posted a while back?:

That's what I was hoping to hear when I stuck it up as I'm no London/RF expert

I don't know what the larger of these two badges is, I keep it with sweethearts.
It's the same sort of size as the one shown (39 x 29) but it's a different striking to the one shown here. It has no fittings or sign of any having been fitted.
It appears to be the same striking as the one Davec2's showing in the linked thread?

The smaller of these two badges is 35 x 22, it has the pin keep on the brooch fitting that I associate with converted "proper" badges, the "C" shaped copper loop like a cut down lug fitting.
Again, it's kept with the sweethearts.

I can't see any traces of gilding on either of them.
