UN nown badges from a sketch
Hi
I have been asked to reacerch Mr Sidney Worthington MM, who i have been given a sketch of, By the looks of the officers cap badge if looks as if he served with the K.S.L.I. however can somebody see if they can make out there arm badges please, (Mr Sidney Worthington MM is on the far left of the pic)

I think he may have been in the DLI.

I have just got his citation for his MM and it's a good one at that as well.

Hi
Sidney Worthington was the 6th Batt the Durhan L.I. so how does the 50th ( Northumbrian ) Division Fist in to his unit and has any body dot a good pic of one? Badges

6th Battalion. The Durham Light infantry was one of 3 battalions in the 151st Infantry Brigade (the others being 1st/7th Battalion, The Queen's Royal Regiment; 8th Battalion, The Durham Light Infantry & 9th Battalion, The Durham Light Infantry - at the time of Scicily [43-44]).
151st Infantry Brigade were part of 50th (Northumbrian) Infantry Division. Hi
thanks for that, i have just looked at the catation for gent who is in the pic as he won the Millitary medal, i have just knoticed that it is signed by the Comd 151 (Durham brigade). All what i want now is a pic of him in full dress with him wearing his MM. Cheers

I doubt if he would have had any better uniform than " best battledress"
