Welsh Guards - Makers' Marks
I picked up this gilding metal badge to the WG guards with a Dowler mark on the shank (lhs badge in the 1st photo), I already had a Dowler AA version and wondered if anyone knows when the gm version would have been in use? You can also just make out what looks like part of a service number just below the crimp mark.
Also shown are the other makers' marks on AA badges to the WGs that I have. Hwyl, Kevin |

Kevin,
It's probably post WW2 and immediately prior to the introduction of anodised badges. Andy |

Thanks Andy, I'll place it prior to the Smith & Wright AA one in order then.
