Default Badge Check

Hi All,

have another set of badges for those that are proficient at spotting errors to have a look at. I have compared them to badges on the Forum, both good and bad, and I personally can't detect any obvious problems. Appreciate any contrary views / confirmations.

1. Two Hertfordshire's. Wide and narrow antlers. No telltale 'notch' recently discussed on the forum, and the font is consistent with real examples.
2. HAC grenade. Again, conforms to examples here, and despite some small scuffs on the obverse, looks OK.
3. Territorial Artillery. The back looks like it's been blackened? Or is it residual gunk? The front is clean, but again has either blackening or gunk in the nooks and crannies....

Much appreciated you looking,

Cheers, Tim

Tim
I'd have no concerns with any of these!

Tim,
The Herts look good as do the others IMO of course , think it's just the gunk on the RA badge not blackened at any time

Thanks Andy and thanks Gerard.

I had a look at the RA badge under a jewellers loop and you're right, its gunk! Thanks for that.

Cheers, Tim
