Ok - the Lamont backing used by 125 ration sqn. Attached is an image of this, which appears to have the same colours and is very similar indeed.

The diamond in the centre on this backing is dark green with dark blue outer corners.

The samples I have are the reverse of this (blue diamond with green outer corners). If the colour coordination is not crutial then this may well be the identity of these samples I have.
