General Staff

I have just acquired this, which is the General Staff TRF. Can anyone tell me who actually wears it? Would it only be worn by officers on the General Staff, or their staff as well?

It's worn by full Colonels and above. Their staff wear there own cap badge TRF or equivelent.

The GS blue stable belt has been dropped.

Also worn by "The Army Sgt Major" - can also by worn by ACF County Commandants (although not all wear it - seems to be an individual preference thing ! Commandant Lincolnshire ACF doesn't wear it although Commandants for both Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire wear it

It's also interesting to see that some Colonel Commandants in the ACF wear it, too.
