Default Which Regiment could it be 5 Para

Here's a photo probably Scotland, King George, Queen Mum and Princess Elizabeth.
The Battalion is particularly smart and although I can't make out any badges I wondered if they were Paras. All the officers are wearing berets, I suppose they could be Commandos with it being Scotland.
I know you guys will have the answer.
Cheers
Sean

Does the source of the image throw up any clues - eg location? date? Mike

No sorry Mike nothing written on the back just a random photo didn't come with anything else.
Tried to make out the cap badges but wondered if they have been altered by the censor. The King is in a kilt, and the officers are wearing berets rather than SD caps. That's what made me think of a Scottish Parachute Bn. Can't see if anyone is wearing para wings though.

I think the location may be Balmoral, on occasion the resident Bn/Coy doing the Royal Guard would march from the Barracks to take a salute at the Castle.
Paul
I cannot recognise any Parachute Insignia

I think you might be right with Balmoral, but which regiment would have officers wearing berets with Service Dress in front of the Sovereign? also looks like it might be a whole Battalion. Could it be a Commando?
Regards
Sean
