Scottish Ceremonial Dress - 16th Battalion (The Cameron Highlanders of WA)
Scottish Ceremonial Dress - 16th Battalion (The Cameron Highlanders of Western Australia) - circa mid 1950s.
The battalion was initially raised in 1936 and then served during World War 2 and continued to be exist until 1960 when it became the 16th Battalion (Royal Western Australian Regiment). This is from my last trip to the Army Museum at Bandiana. Enjoy! Mick

Nice post! A shame about the reflection from the glass but I guess you do the best you can under the circumstances, eh.
The West Australian Highlanders, formed in 1903, also used the Cameron Erract (is that the term?) tartan. Donny B. |

It's a great museum to visit but the lighting makes for ordinary photos which is a shame.
