It looks like a repro to me, but I haven't really paid too much attention to wings other than RAF and RCAF.

I don't like the backing - I have not seen that on WWII wings. It may have been added for protection at some stage later.

The wings were sold on ebay for about £70.
The seller didn't offer any return.

Judging from the photos is a tough call. Having the badge in hand is a better way to tell the authenticity, but this is not always possible. Were you the buyer Dominique? I'd be interested in seeing a couple of good detail close up photos, they may help. I still think it looks good, but as I said, photos can deceive!
