Default U known battle dress badge

Chaps, I do not have possesion of this item, but asking for a mate.

The Port Engineer Group I know, but I cant identify the other badge.

It all looks a bit made up to me, either way - can anyone identify the 'shield shaped ' badge.

Regards all

Bess

Need to check the timeline for those badges in combination?

The badge combination is OK for the period c1955 to c1967. The RCT formed in 1965 and continued to wear the RASC AER sign until at least 1967 when the TA was reorganised.
The yellow backed Major’s Crown is correct for RASC and possibly RCT.
Of course the badges could have been sewn on recently!
Is the officer’s name in the BD jacket?

Tim

No idea Tim, its not mine I was literally 'asking for a friend' who has been offered it. Neither of us knew what the RASC AER badge was!
