Default A New One To Me - Grenadier Guards Pagri

This badge is listed as an Edward VIII Grenadier Guards pagri badge. Cannot say I’d even heard of such a badges existence let alone seen one.

Has anyone else ever seen or read about such a badge?

The badge I posted is on regimentalbadges, only £585. It’s not sold yet.

The badge in the C&T link provided by Alan was an Edward VII pagri. That sold for £460 plus fees.

Date wise it would fit, there is a Pathe’ Video of the 2nd Bn ‘Fitting for Egypt’ at Windsor prior to deployment to Egypt in 1936,(Video available on the GG website and this shot in the last few seconds - a Google search will bring it up too)
Not conclusive on cypher but worth considering
Paul
