Default End of another year

This time last year I was being treated for cancer after 18 months of being misdiagnosed, this year I am in hospital after a fall on boxing day today in which I broke my lower left leg.

Let's hope that's the end of it for a while, though I will be in recovery for a long time and am still having treatment for the cancer whilst another lesser cancer is awaiting treatment.

Anyway, happy new year to all, it can only get better

Thinking of you Jerry, all of that is a tough shout but keep fighting and keep positive.

Jerry, as a 20 year cancer survivor, I know what you are going through. Sending prayers for your recovery.

Stay strong, Jerry, and keep the ol' chin up. You'll be back to battalion strength in no time.

Many thanks to all who replied, it is appreciated.

Treatment for the cancer has so far been successful and I am having preventative treatment,

The broken leg really sucks, at my ages breaks are an issue, last night and first thing this morning they said I would go home today, but sadly they decided the plaster cast was not holding it in place as both tib & fib were snapped completely and they will now instead pin and/or plate them to repair it so I will be in hospital until end if next week, if not for longer.

It has been a tough last few years with the misdiagnosed cancer as well as a second cancer which after so long they have still yet to treat it as it is classed as a lower priority.

Enough of that, lets hope the new year brings us better times
