Default Hello from a newbie

Hi, I'm Mike

Ex Royal Air Force and now a member of the Royal British Legion Riders Branch. Spend lots of time doing fund raising for the Legion, but in my down time very interested in military history mainly WWI.

Love walking the battle fields of Flanders and The Somme and take trips with fellow Legion members and do the odd talk to those who want to listen. Have a nice collection of WWI medals, and recently started collection cap badges, and would like to collect WWI era items. I'm aware there are lots of fakes out there (heads up from one of your members) so here to learn and perhaps share an image or two of items I pick up.

Mike

Hi Mike - and welcome!
Plenty of helpful and informative members here, and many who collect to WW1.
There's a lot of information to be found in previous posted threads, so that's well worth checking out. Other than that, if you have any questions just ask!

Cheers

Hello Mike,

Welcome to the forum.

There are plenty of cap badges on the website I share with a friend: www.militarychest.com

Enjoy the hobby, and use the forum to ask questions

Keith
