The other day I was looking at some old footage of RN Clearance Divers which was shot in the late-1960s. They were wearing battledress tunics over blue work shirts. Although the film was in black-and-white they were obviously wearing red trade and rate badges on the tunics and white 'Royal Navy' shoulder titles. I suppose that these must be the shoulder titles referred to earlier as being worn in the 1960s. I was hoping that these might have been the mysterious red 'Royal Navy' titles but unfortunately not!
