Default Best country house hotel for badges!

So this weekend my wife and I were supposed to be in Rome for the Italy v England Rugby 😞. When it was cancelled we looked around for somewhere to go and got a last minute deal at Llangoed Hall in mid Wales. I wasnít entirely sold on the idea but the Hotel has proved a delight , not least because the owner used to be an officiant the 1st Gurkhas in WW2 and he obviously kept up a relationship with the Brigade as there are lots of framed photos of him with Gurkhas at the hotel and indeed Gurkha orderly officers with her Majesty the Queen- but in one corner of the snooker room was an interesting frame of cap badges - nothing too rare from what I can see but nonetheless the first cap badge display Iíve seen in a hotel😀

Thanks for sharing, Tim. Something good came from the change of plan.
Cheers, John
