Post war, circa 1950-57 officers, frosted silver finish, very nice.
Was it expensive? Last edited by Frank Kelley; 25-02-20 at 01:36 PM. |

They are getting very expensive these days, there must have been rather more made than were ever actually purchased and subsequently worn, really much the same as the rank and file badges.
It was only a small organisation, gliders had died a death and many of it's members who were actually operational types were out in Malaya. Those at home were all very keen to get on the much vaunted "chopper" courses. Anything under a hundred quid would be good, I suppose. |

Very nice badge Mark. I think it was very reasonably priced too. Well done getting it, whilst I don’t collect officers badges temptation flashed across my mind several times for this one. Pleased it’s gone to a good home.
