Unidentified Light Infantry Style Button
This button arrived the other day and so far has eluded an exact identification, it shows a Light Infantry style bugle or horn with an unusual top device where the cord knot usually appears along with the numeral '1'.
Maker marked to the reverse by 'Stillwell & Son, London'. To my eye it appears to have an Indian Army connection but having tried a number of Web searches I've drawn a blank. Any thoughts or assistance would be most welcome. Best regards, Simon. |

I feel I have seen it before, possibly Channel Islands, Guernsey or Jersey?

I'll have to keep my eyes open. What size is it and have you been able to date it? Chris |
