It is before the button period I collect (from 1881) but I could make an educated guess as pre 1814 due to the lack of the Peninsula battle honour but no better than that. See also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/14th_King%27s_Hussars

the second rope edged button is circa 1776-c1790.
