Slider thickness?
Hello all,
Just on a whim, I measured the thicknesses of a random group of sliders found on a diverse array of WWI period badges. As you might guess, there’s a demonstrable range of results. Has anyone analyzed the topic to any significant degree?

I looked at all my badges (all 1896 Pattern KLR) and found that there were different "vertical shanks" (official name) on the badge die. Of the 21 dies (regular, Vol Bn, TF badges - (two metals, and single metal) and for this badge there a specific slider (I can't find it on the computer - will search later with analysis).
