Hi Peter, what you have is the current cap badge and collar badges for the MPs in the Canadian Forces,worn usually on the service dress uniform.The cloth cap badge is worn with the combat uniform (see link).

Sorry to stray off subject but is this type os slider used on modern British cap badges ?

Default MP Cap Badge Canadian

Hey Peter

The cap badge is no longer in use by the military police. Budget cuts have made DND use embroidered and padded only badges now. The only exception is the officers use a bullion wire version. I hope this helps. I am pretty sure I have a few in stock if you need any.
