Default Huntingdonshire Badge With Lugs

Hi all. I came across this badge but don't really know much about them. I have tried to find information online, but all the ones ive seen have sliders rather than lugs. Can anyone provide me with any info? Cheers.

Cool Hunts Cyclist

From the look of it your badge may be a Hunts Cyclist collar badge which was the same as the cap badge only smaller, what are the dimesions?

Thanks for that, I hadn't thought of it. It measures just under 4cm in length. Cheers

Cool Huntingdonshire Badge With Lugs

Well, from your measurements, it looks like to be cap badge dimensions, however, it could be an officers Service Dress collar badge with loops.

Look and see if there are any signs of a bronze finish, probably on the reverse.

Could it not have been provided by the County Territorial Association-pre war office issue so could be on lugs? Regards, Paul.
Ugly brute though.

Smile Hunts Cyclist

Must be an other ranks cap badge, as Paul said not the handsomest of wildlife.

Thanks for the help guys. When you say it is ugly, are you saying it is a reproduction or just the overall look of the badge? Cheers.

I've not seen one with lugs but think it could be a good badge. My remark was about the facial features. Regards, Paul.
