Default No. 2 Commando badge

I was surprised to see this unsold. Looks good to me, do others consider it overpriced?

I believe it finished early, I was watching it as well. I guess maybe the seller had a good early offer, sold it and ended the auction. This happens a fair bit on scarce items.

Maybe the seller saw the ad and thats why it was withdrawn at £200.....
Certainly raises the game on lifting prices....

No, this one was pulled from eBay because the eBay seller was offered a decent price far exceeding the auction starting price. Robin knows his stuff and would never undersell/not know the value of something like this.

The game on lifting prices is more to do with buyers than sellers. If sellers get wind of something selling for X amount the next one that becomes available becomes X + whatever. Many of my items on my site including the 2 Commando patch are consigned items and are not owned by me, only sold by me. The seller sets their price and I take a cut. I rate this badge as a £450 badge - I know one selling privately for this last year and also on Bosley's website last year for £450.

Is it not what a fool gives for it,.

A few years. ago they were around 350 GBP , stocks are rising.

You als see web dealers picking up items at Ebay and put a nice margin on it. Of clourse this is their full right and buyers have their own choice to buy from Ebay or a dealer at a higher price.

Cheers,
JB

Jack, your 100percent right. It was around 5 years ago when I bought one from you at less than a quarter of the price. Admitted it was hanging out. Robbing a respected dealer ending early!! Tut tut

A "nice" margin does sound good, but not as good as someone on a recent BBC program referring to an 800% profit as "a reasonable profit", or "making a killing". An excellent way of instilling sense of values into the next generation. Makes what the banks did as positively angelic.
In light of this, I can't understand what all the fuss is about with the energy companies price rises - all sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Tablet time.
Over and out.
