Default My insignia so far

Hello all,

While I am relatively new to the community I would just like to share the small but happy collection that I have built up so far. I got the RAF insignia for a good deal so they are simply a throw-in. Other than that I plan on focusing on special forces insignia. Would anyone happen to have or know of any photos of the 44th div. insignia in use?

I hope Airborne collectors on here may add comments - but to get the ball rolling:
Google is a good resource. Also this site which you should fully explore: https://www.paradata.org.uk/unit/44t...borne-division

If you are just starting out - watch for the pitfalls, it is a minefield out there - particularly with Airborne and other desirable areas of collecting - loads of fakes unfortunately. But that is a subject for Airborne specialists ...

Thank you for the photo and info, I feel like every time I search google it never finds anything I am looking for. Must say I am also not new to all the fakes, it seems like I see more fakes than original.

Welcome to the forum and if ever in doubt post the insignia on here before forking out any money.

Starting out in the field of airborne insignia can be daunting but there are bargains to be had and it looks like you're off to a good start.

Good collecting

Paul
