Royal Welch Fusiliers or South Wales Borderers
Lieut. A J Rowbrey SWB, why is he on a Royal Welch Fusiliers certificate?
I picked this up at a car boot on Sunday for a pound, if any of the Welch collectors here would like it they can have it for the price of postage. Rob |

I got his MIC, he was entitled to a trio, was originally 1st Herefords, then perhaps 2nd or 4thSWB, though all 3 of which went to Gallipoli (2B on his mic) as an other rank and then commissioned into the SWB 17/3/18, presumably then transferred into RWF?

the august date on his MIC suggests he was still 1/1 Herefords when he went to Gallipoli.
