Well, bit of a saga with this one but we got there in the end!! The badge was lost in the post but was finally delivered today (my birthday!) a huge apology and a £10 refund followed from the seller, first class service all round. After a bit of a clean I'm delighted with it, lovely gilding all over, proper jewellers job by the look of it with a nice brooch attached. I'll keep it as it is and wear it to work at the School for Remembrance in November, pics attached,
A happy Wilf.

Wilf,

A lovely badge. Out of curiosity, what did you clean it with?

I cleaned the badge with a trimmed toothbrush dipped in household ammonia, then gave it a good wash with soapy water, worked a treat.
keith, they are all Yeomanry badges apart from the top right which is the RVC cap badge as I'm led to believe plus cap & collars for the 2nd VB, sure I have a photo somewhere!!
