Hi Ivan,

If this a looped KK675 (Need to confirm dimensions) it is my holy grail. I don't suppose that there is the slightest chance that you wish to part with it?

Regards

Ry

Am not really sure, the KK image is quite dark.

At its widest/longest points, the badge measures 50mm top to bottom and 30mm across.

Ivan,

If those measurements are accurate it may be KK674, a very rare badge.

Please see this thread:

Have just re measured the badge following Ry's advice and it measures:

50mm-top to bottom
36mm-across
25mm-length of tablet.

So perhaps a KK674 then?

That'll be a 675, I'd say .

Hello gents,

It was my intention to wait until this badge had been repaired before coming back to this thread.
However, those of you that remember the feeling of being a "Kid at Christmas" will appreciate that having actually received this badge after a very kind offer from Ivan I can't wait to show it off!

Many thanks Ivan and I do hope that you enjoy your new purchase as much as I have enjoyed acquiring this one.

The badge will be joining my other wounded soldiers in a visit to the Military master surgeon at Tamworth in order to receive the care and attention that I feel it is due and I hope to be able to show the images of it once it is again fit for duty.

Regards to all.

Ry

Ry I am glad to help.

I am a firm believer in this forum and the power it has to help fellow badge collectors and this is a prime example of how it could and should work i.e.

I asked for information about I badge I knew nothing about, people were kind enough to freely offer their advice and knowledge, I find out someone is interested in the badge, I pass the badge to 'the kid at Christmas'. And to boot, I get a badge I've been after thanks to Ry!

As far as I'm concerned, we all win so long live the forum.

regards, Ivan
