"The Kings" brooch?
Hi everyone, this is my first post so hope you don't mind me jumping in with an identification request.
I have searched the internet for this "brooch" (it has a pin straight across the back) and have been unable to find anything like it. I'm presuming it is "The King's" Liverpool. It does look as though it may have been two separate badges at one time which have been soldered together. It was a metal detecting find by either my mum or dad, but I don't know where it was found. I'm hoping it might be a rarity, but I know this is highly unlikely |

Probably a sweetheart brooch made by joining two badges together. Not valuable but a nice item.

Jerry is right, it is a sweethearts brooch made by joining together a pair of pre 1926 Kings Liverpool Regiment other ranks collar badges.
Not very valuable but the only one I have ever seen and an interesting and collectable item . A picture of my collection of Kings Liverpool sweethearts brooches is attached P.B.

Your two collar badges are Other Ranks' War Office Pattern 9880B/1895 but sealed on 7th Jan 1896. They were officially declared obsolete on 9th Sept 1927.
