Default GPR officer khaki-backed Army Flying Badge

I have just acquired this photo of a GPR officer, in service dress, whose parent regiment was the Northumberland Fusiliers...

Nice detail of the khaki-backed Army Flying Badge, and use of shoulder titles and buttons from parent regiment.

Would be wonderful to own such a set of wings!

I wonder if the officer was divorced as the photograph appears to show a woman's left soldier. The photograph of the happy couple seems to have been cut in half.

Indeed!

The most likely candidate for who it is was apparently married 3 times - in the 1940s, 1960s and 1970s - so this would fit his story.

Chaps, whilst we're on the topic, attached from my trip to the Army flying museum at Middle Wallop last year for interests sake.
