Request for help with ID...
Hello All...
Ran across this one recently. Very well struck, excellent quality, 50mm from 12 o’clock to 6 o’clock. Any ideas?

Although it is a Lion rampant, it is not Wrekin College (or Wellington College as it was when the badge was worn).
That didnt have the torse below and would have been in GM. I have found that over the years this is a badge associated with Scottish Volunteer units and is kind of a generic glengarry badge from late Victorian era worn by officers , possibly in several units. Its also possible its used in a civilian glengarry of the time. They are always well made and with a brooch fitting like yours. regards

The badge minus the torse was misidentified by Hugh King as Wrekin OTC. It was not worn by the school as they wore a different lion with a scroll. The OTC was originally called Wellington College OTC and wore the same badge with a Wellington College OTC scroll before it changed title.
