43rd Wessex Wyverns
I've always wondered and have never really gotten a satisfactory answer as to why some of the Wyverns have different colours on their claws and tails as in the ones I have pictured from my collection.
Any thoughts or ideas appreciated, Garth |

The examples you picture are over-woven printed badges which was a common unoffical modification for use on best BD.
There is an example of an officers BD in the Wiltshires Museum. At first appearances the badge on the bottom right right looks like a horrible modern repro. |
