To be fair, the seller is not a badge dealer. Unfortunately, he has purchased a very large collection of badges from a collector who gave little thought as to what he bought as long as it filled a gap and would have badges made to fill a gap that in all probability never existed. I would keep an eye on his listings as there are one or two gems and more than a few that you will find interesting to say the least

Many years ago when I started collecting 1973 I had a file on odd badges At that time I asked Sid Fisher who had a stall at Bowden Hall military fair about the badge in post one ,his reaction even then was surprising the same as Keith'sI suspect only a few older members will recognise the name

Hi

A post not related to cap badges but medals to the Middlesex Footballers. I possess a single Victory medal to a member of this Battalion. A member of 17th Btn, he was killed 8/8/16.

Probably time to move if on so anyone seriously keen can PM me for details.
