Sounds like K&K 2603 described as "King William's College, Isle of Man - The college seal in gilding metal".

I have a book called "King Williams College Register 1833- 1927" a picture of the front cover which has a copy of the College`s badge or seal embosssed on the front cover is attached.

Also attaching a copy of the pages for pupils entering the College in 1906 which in most cases gives some details of their WW1 service.

Billy,
your badge looks a bit rough, but from the images shown I'd say its fine. Dating OTC/CCF is a nightmare, however if you Google the School history to see when the OTC/CCF were active (many still are but with Regular Unit badges) you may be lucky.. As for a price??? They seem to be popular at the moment and on average £30+ with some of the scarcer ones reaching 3 figures!

Hi Andy thanks for that does yours have the funny squiggles to the rear? the photo,s not the best feels good and a bit off rubbing but looks O/K deffinition not so pronounced as your own though, but never seen one before and though not an argument for restrikes surely they want mass production badges to sell and not a badge that has a small following? haven,t many OTC badges but looking through K&K I can see there are loads of them - not my area! cheers for your thoughts everyone

I believe that the schools CCF army contingent is currently badged to the Duke of Lancasters Regiment.

The oval design dates from after WW1 as this photo shows the first pattern with a shield was in use in 1914.
