Thanks for the comments on the album Lancer17.

Phil (Lancer17) commented that he has examples of the Sqn badges but they are darker in colour than the usual yellow brass. According to K&K, The British African badge is said to be found in gilt, brass and bronze but the other sqn badges are found in brass only. Phil's badges also show the loops in an E-W configuration instead of N-S. The badge American British badges displayed by Bosleys have N-S loop configuration.
