Default military style waist belt clasp ??????

Probably not military but this small size wbc is of a military style, my thoughts are a school item perhaps but any help in identification will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

It looks like the type of belt that nurses used to wear.

Thanks Hoot,

I wonder if the colour of the belt itself is a clue ?

Peter, black and red are the colours of the shield of the Worcester crest.

Worcester Medical Museums may be able to give you an answer , link is to a page about the Bates Gold Medal :

"This medal was given to Linda M. Randall (nee St. Leger Chambers) in 1968 for winning the first prize at Worcester Royal Infirmary's Student Nurse Training School."

Just a thought

Dear Mike ,Hoot and Stephen,

Thanks for your help , it appears it might be a nurses belt, pictures sent to Worcester Medical Museums, will let you know if they come back with a positive i.d.

Thanks again for all the help.

Peter

I have received a very helpful reply from the Worcester Medical Museum which is attached unfortunately it does not provide a positive identification.

Back to the drawing board.
