The button area which makes the link accessible is quite small.
Hover over a button with your mouse, mouse point 2/3, and move it from left to right. Once you have found the hot spot at 1/2 to 3/4 of the button your pointer changes to a hand and you can select the item or move up or downwards to another button.
If you cannot make it work I can try to put all sublinks in a forum message.

Default Bornu Native Administration Police swagger stick badge (Nigeria)

Good evening

This arrived today: a Bornu Native Administration Police swagger stick badge from Nigeria. The badge is absent from both “The Military Badges and Insignia of Southern Africa” (Owen, 1990) and “British Colonial Badges” (Renfrew et al, 2011), suggesting that my example is likely to be quite rare.

Hi folks
I think this might be a Native Administration Police badge, took me a while to work out the lettering but I think it is for Patigi and Lafiagi which is in Kwara State in Nigeria, does the JPF stand for Joint PolIce Force or something else?
Regards
Sean

Hi Sean

Perhaps "Jails & Police Force" (although the two items I've seen specifically state "Prison/s")? Nice piece anyway.
