flag style button , please help .
Hi , please could anyone indentify this button for me is it military or livery ?
it measures approx 20mm and i can just make out around the outer part of the flag REG"REGNOQUE. FIDELIS. also has any one an idea of what value it could be worth . thankyou in advance |

It's unusual in the sense that the flag is heraldically flying the wrong way.

Could be a livery button: "regi regnoque fidelis" means 'faithful to king and kingdom", and it's the motto i.a. of the Pocock family of baronets in the UK.
The flag looks to me like a King's or Queen's Colour rather than simply a Union Jack, because it's almost square, on a pikestaff, and has cords and tassels attached.
