BC,
The second image you posted - The helmet flash on bottom row on Rt side may not be Kiwi but South African WWII 1 Medium Battery, South African Artillery

It is worn vertically with the red to the top and yellow on the bottom

The HVTC badge is not military.
There is something concerning about the white ferns on black circles. Can't remember why?

HVTC is, as far as I am aware, Hutt Valley Tramping Club. More commonly seen as a silver/ silver plate and enamel lapel badge.

Yes, an NZ item if that helps.

First image, green diamonds are 2 Canterbury Regt now 2/4 RNZIR, current still worn. Green diamond red bayonet 4OSouth now part of 2/4 RNZIR current. Red diamond green 1, 1 RNZIR, current. Red Triangle, no idea.

Red shield and sword/bayonet, School of Infantry, disbanded years ago, now the Cbt Sch.

Second to last pic pic, NZ flag is from the INTERFET Brassard, Black kiwi is not a patch but cut from Singapore shorts. The two Afghan Kiwis may be repro, depends where they came from, can get them easily enough off of EBAY.

Hope this helps

Dan
