Default Coorg & Mysore MGC

Hi Peter.

I don't know anything about them but I think the unit is the
Coorg & Mysore MGC

Part of the volunteer system in India ie mainly Europeans, the MGC could have been part of either
Coorg & Mysore Rifles 1884-1917 or more likely
Coorg & Mysore Company 1884-1947, which from 1920 was part of the
AFI -Auxiliary Force(India)

Unusual & nice find.
Alan.

Kempton ("A Register of titles of the Units of the HEIC & Indian Armies") shows the title, "No1 [Coorg & Mysore] Coy MGC" from 1917 to 1933.
