Default Help with info

This is a badge from a collection I just aquired. Any info on the badge its self would be great.
The button isn't paired with the badge

My opinion is that your badge is of one of the 4 regiments of Lancers of the Hyderabad Contingent created in 1853. I can't make out the second letter of the bottom title scroll - I . ? .LANCERS. If it is the 1st Lancers then, on amalgamation with the 2nd, they became the 20th Deccan Horse in 1903. Your button is Australian army. Regards. David

1st (Nizam's Own) Hyderabad Imperial State Lancers, raised 1864, and served in the Middle East (under Gen Allenby) in 1WW.
