Suffolk Regiment cap badge LONG SLIDER 1903-1906 ???? Opinions Please
Hi
Been looking through threads and found nothing on long slidered cap badges as to the specific time period they were from. Seen some on sites saying 1903-1906 which would make them EDVII period is this one of those badges, still worn in WW1 I expect to go with my line infantry collection. Thanks for looking Paul Last edited by Major Dundee; 30-11-14 at 05:58 PM. |

A forum member's research has shown that these long sliders were the sealed pattern from 1903-06 as stated. After then all new badges were made with shorter vertical shanks (sliders).
